Membership

A candidate for membership (male or female) in the Holy City Motorcycle Ministry must demonstrate a consistent walk with Christ, and a heart for serving God and others.

They must attend and be accountable to a local church believing in the following doctrines:

• The virgin birth of Jesus Christ

• The death, burial, and bodily resurrection of Christ

• Jesus is the only begotten Son of God

• Jesus is Deity; the one true God in human form

• The Bible is the inspired Word of God

The candidate may go through a hangaround period before being considered for probationary membership as a Disciple. This will allow them time to get to know the members and learn what Holy City is all about. This time will also allow the members time to observe the candidates understanding and commitment to the ministry. After the hangaround period, it will be determined by the majority of chapter membership if the “hangaround” will be offered disciple status. There will be no length of time designated for the hangaround period.

Once the candidate is offered and accepts probationary membership, the “Disciple” may serve a probationary period. During this time, they will work closely with an assigned sponsor and chapter leadership. Once recommended by the sponsor and approved by the Chapter President, the Disciple will be presented for chapter vote to full-patch membership. There will be no duration or length of time designated for the disciple period.
